Security Glazing Products by Texas Tempered Glass may be used in those applications which require resistance against forced entry, ballistic penetration and detention facility breakout. Texas Tempered Glass manufactures two basic types of Laminated Security Glazing: Multiple Plies of Glass and Glass-clad Polycarbonates. Each type can be altered to meet specific project requirements, and all Ballistic products are tested to UL and HP WHITE standards.
Glass Clad Polycarbonates combines the surface durability of float glass with the intrusion characteristics of the polycarbonate component. The individual layers are fused together with a custom hybrid urethane interlayer specially formulated for adhesion to glass and polycarbonate sheets.
